As president of Garuda International, I also have a strong dedication and commitment to my personal health and the health of the world as a whole. My personal commitment to health and a healthy lifestyle has led me to the creation of this web site so that we can offer consumers a chance to purchase our premium active ingredients in tablet and capsule forms in economical retail packages.
Garuda International Inc. has been a supplier of premium quality health ingredients worldwide for the past twenty years. We are well known by manufacturers of tablets, capsules and health foods around the world for our uncompromising quality and exhaustive analytical testing of each and every batch of raw materials we supply. Our ingredients include a number of popular herbs and herbal extracts, vitamins, minerals and some very unique health sustaining plant extracts.
CAN YOU TRUST THE SUPPLEMENTS YOU BUY IN STORES?
Over the past several years, the herbal and health products market has exploded with a proliferation of new products and brands. But, with this explosion and increasing competition, we have noticed that many of the manufacturers have switched their ingredients to inferior lower grades to save costs and out-compete their rivals on price. Unfortunately, the consumer always loses by getting low quality, untested raw materials in their health supplements. The FDA is unable to scrutinize the booming industry with lack of manpower and little understanding of the specialized testing methods required for each and every herbal and health ingredient.
HOW & WHY WE STARTED THIS WEB SITE However, I have personally been unable to trust the quality of the supplements that I use daily when I purchase them from my local health food and drug stores. So I decided to start producing tablets and capsules using our tested raw materials for my personal consumption and the consumption of our employees and family. That led to the creation of this web site and the products we plan to offer for sale direct to consumers.
I am in my mid-forties and want to remain fit and healthy for at least another 40-50 years. It is clear from the research that I have done over the past twenty years, that certain supplements in moderation and taken daily will greatly reduce the chances of me suffering from many degenerative diseases. That is why I have established a regimen of daily supplementation and why I have coaxed my mother, father, family members and employees to do the same. I am betting that there are many more "baby-boomers" and others that have the same goals and approach. If you are like me, you do not want to be spending the last ten to twenty years of your life bedridden or suffering from a wide range of maladies that could have been prevented by some simple lifestyle changes and daily supplementation.
A WORD ABOUT PACKAGING AND ITS EFFECT ON PRICES
One important factor (besides astronomical profit margins) that makes the supplements you buy in stores so expensive, is the cost of packaging. Did you know that there is very little difference in cost between a bottle that could hold 365 tablets or capsules (perhaps a years supply, one-a-day) and a bottle that can hold only 30 or so capsules (perhaps a months supply). So if you purchase the 30 day supply, you would have to purchase 12 bottles a year! What a waste of money and an ecological disaster this creates! And, as you know, those bottles that contain only 30 to 90 capsules usually consist mostly of air anyway with a few tablets or capsules at the bottom and a lot of cotton stuffing. So for me, I would prefer to purchase a years supply of the supplements I take daily and have them packaged in a bottle that is economical and ecological! I am betting you would too. So our plan is to offer the key supplements you and I think are most important for daily use and to package them in one year supply bottles. It makes good economical and ecological sense, doesn't it. (If it doesn't, write me and explain to me why! I am all ears!)
WHAT WE PLAN TO OFFER Unlike most dietary supplement companies, we will never use lower grade, lower cost ingredients to cut our costs and increase our profit margins. In fact, we will use only the very top-quality premium ingredients with verified analytical tests done on each batch by an independent testing lab. A copy of the lab analysis certificate will accompany each shipment we make to you, the consumer.
Where we will save costs is on packaging and advertising (the area where most dietary supplement companies spend most). We will be using standard, no-frills, high-density polyethylene bottles that will contain a one year supply of the supplement purchased. We will also use no-frills black & white labels containing all necessary product information, but without expensive 4-color graphic, etc.. This will keep our costs down where it doesn't affect quality. We also promise to keep our profit margins small to pass on all of the savings to our customers. We promise you Supplements Cheap in price but tops in quality. If you find supplements for less, you can be sure the quality is severely lacking!
